How a Martingale Works
The Martingale dog collar should slip easily over the dog's head. The dog leash clips on the O-ring. When you give a correction by pulling on the leash, the 2 D-rings come together. The chain is only tight when giving a correction.
This collar should NEVER choke the dog, it just tightens. The tightening plus the sound of the chain helps alert the dog that a correction is needed. Please let us know if you need further instruction on how to use this collar.
